CHAPLAINCY Religious Orders in Education

At ROE and especially through our Charism group we want to help our Chaplains and would-be chaplains to:

Find affirmation of their contribution, To help them manage the many challenges that Chaplaincy in the modern Catholic school faces To offer them practical wisdom, hewn from many years of direct experience in schools as Chaplains both lay and religious amongst the members of the Charism Group at ROE To develop everyday practice To offer platforms such as our Chaplaincy Chat online and face-to-face conferences for sharing and networking across our schools

Chaplaincy Chat

As part of our work, the ROE Charism group offers a supportive resourcing network for chaplains in religious order schools and those following a religious charism.

Each term we hold an informal, online 1-hour Zoom meeting that puts chaplains and those involved in chaplaincy in schools into conversation. The aim of our ‘Chats’ is help those who attend to build professional and faith relationships as well as share resources. At this time of change and development in chaplaincy we want you to be at the friendliest leading edge of all that happens. We simply call it ‘Chaplaincy Chat’.

The mix is always some input, resources to share but mostly small breakout conversations. We welcome ideas for themes / input and resources you would like to share.
